Development
- Zed is my primary code editor, with XY-Zed theme and BerkeleyMono Nerd Font
- Ghostty terminal with ZSH and OhMyZsh!
- Claude Code is my coding agent of choice, been trying out the new Codex CLI too.
- Tailscale for connecting with my VPS and other devices, also for tunnelling
Daily Apps
- Notion for note-taking, documentation, and tracking everything from tasks to ideas
- Eraser for drawing code flows, system design, and architecture diagrams
- Bitwarden and 1Password for managing personal and work credentials
- Discord for interacting with developer communities like Chatwoot and VueIndia
- Reddit for staying updated with tech news and community discussions
- Fold Money for tracking expenses and investments
- GoodNotes for reading and annotating papers on my iPad
- Todoist for managing personal and work tasks
Hardware
- I primarily use a MacBook Pro 16” (2019) with 16GB RAM and a dedicated graphics card as my main work machine.
- I also own an HP Pavilion Gaming 15, which I occasionally use for gaming and testing workloads on Windows.
- For note-taking and quick sketches, I use an iPad 9th Gen with an Apple Pencil.
- My daily driver phone is the Nothing Phone (1), which I love for its clean, stock Android UI experience.
- I use a Belkin 65W (45W + 20W) USB-C GaN Charger, which fast-charges all my devices efficiently and is perfect for travel.
- For audio, I have a Xiaomi Outdoor Speaker that I use for music and podcasts.
- My keyboard setup includes a Logitech K380 for everyday use and a TVS Gold Mechanical Keyboard when I want a tactile typing experience.
- I use a Logitech G502 Hero mouse for both work and casual gaming.
- I also have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ configured for terminal access over SSH for lightweight experiments and server tasks.
